Canada saw nearly 450,000 new study permits get last year, a staggering figure that simply stone-broke the previous uncomparable record set in 2019.
Before the pandemic, Canada saw simply upto 400,000 new study permits get before the figure fell to only over 255,000 in 2020. Last year’s total represents a doubling compared to 2015.

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) releases information on a monthly basis of recent study permits that get approved. These are new students coming in to Canada in addition as foreign nationals already living in Canada who with success acquire a study permit.
