What is the process for Skills Assessment for Australia PR

Step1- Nominate your occupation – Applicant need to nominate an occupation as part of applying for a formal Skills Assessment application. Begin by nominating the occupation which is most relevant to your qualification/s and employment. Generally, for a Skills Assessment application lodged under either ENS, GSM, RSMS or TSS visa categories, applicants are required to hold a qualification which is assessed at the required educational level in a highly relevant field to the nominated occupation. For applicants who meet the skills assessment criteria, we will then determine the date that you were deemed skilled in your nominated occupation within a ten year period. The Date Deemed Skilled is the date you have met the VETASSESS skills assessment criteria.

Step2- Check you occupation description – Applicant need to check in the occupation list whether the occupation exist in the Australia occupation list or not. It is very important to have an occupation in the list.
