Tasmania Nomination Criteria changes
The rapidly evolving situation regarding COVID-19 has necessitated temporary changes to eligibility for the Subclass 491: 3A Overseas Applicant (TSOL) nomination category.As of 20 March 2020, applications for this category are temporarily restricted until further notice to occupations listed in the ‘High Demand’ section of the Tasmanian Skilled Occupation List (TSOL). Please do not LODGE or PAY for a Category 3A application if your nominated occupation is not listed as ‘HIGH DEMAND’ on the TSOL. Your application will NOT be assessed.
Applications under Category 3A lodged prior to this date which specify other occupations will still be considered. Applicants with ‘High Demand’ occupations will, however, be given priority. This means processing times for other Category 3A applications with occupations not listed in the High Demand section will become extended (approximately 6 months from lodgment).
Tasmania is the best place to immigrate in Australia, which has a requirement for skilled workers, is Tasmania. The Tasmanian state government can sponsor the State Sponsorship 190 permanent residency visa and 489 temporary residency visas.
Requirements Tasmania Skilled Nomination visa
Subclass 190: Candidate must have over five years of work experience post-qualification in the nominated occupation and a formal job offer from a Tasmanian employer.
Subclass 489: Candidate must have moved to Tasmania and been employed in the nominated or closely related occupation for at least six months post qualification.
